Decision 6/104. Prevention of genocide

At its 21st meeting, on 28 September 2007, the Human Rights Council decided,

without vote, to adopt the following:

The Human Rights Council,

Recalling Commission on Human Rights resolution 2005/62 of 20 April 2005, as

well as Council decision 2/102 of 6 October 2006,

Taking note of the report of the Secretary-General on the implementation of the

Five-Point Action Plan and the activities of the Special Adviser on the Prevention of

Genocide (E/CN.4/2006/84), as well of new developments since the submission of the

report,

Requests the Secretary-General to make available to the Council at its seventh

session an updated report, and invites the Special Adviser to address the Council at

the same session on the progress made in discharging his duties.”
